I went to the Lions Home For The Elderly situated at Novena during the school hoidays. At first, I got lost since it was my first time there so i finally got there after 2 hours trying to find the place. When i finally reached there, it was around 2pm plus so i jus checked the chopsticks for 2 hours and left, but for the rest, they had been there since 11am hence all of them had finished their CIP on that day itself, but for me, I planned to finished the rest next time i visit the Home.

I went there again on the 16 June to complete my CIP and one of my friend, Li Tene, decided to join me so both of us went there by ourselves. Although it is the second time we went there but we still got lost for a bit like alighting the bus too early or overshot. When both of us reach there, we let out a sign of relief as we finally got there. We went and meet the person in-charge, Jereen, and then we start our work of checking the chopsticks' quality again.

Although it looks like it is quite an easy job but actually, but it needs a lot time and concentration to do the job because we need to check a lot things such as whether there are any splits on them, After checking thost things, we need to pair them up according to their colours and length. A lot of those chopsticks are just singled out as they are either the same colour but just different length or vice-versa.

We checked the chopsicks for around 4 hours before we left. When we were leaving, Jereen sent us the photos that we took during our first visit and she even gave us some souvenirs to take along with us, how kind of her! I had learn a lot of things and gained some experience from these visits, although it is tiring, we still have lots of fun. Wish to visit there again...
